  • For the Filling:
    • 3 medium potatoes
    • 1 onion
    • 1 pepper
    • 100 grams (3.5 oz) of cheese
    • Spring onions (a handful, chopped)
    • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • For the Pancakes:
    • 2 eggs
    • ½ tablespoon sugar
    • 500 ml (2 cups) milk
    • 200 grams (7 oz or 11 tablespoons) flour
    • Pinch of salt
    • Sunflower oil (for frying)
  • For Coating:
    • 3 eggs
    • 3 tablespoons flour
    • Breadcrumbs
    • Butter (for frying)

Directions

Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes

  1. Peel and dice 3 medium potatoes.
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
  3. Drain and mash the potatoes until smooth. Set aside.

Step 2: Fry the Onion

  1. Dice 1 onion.
  2. Heat sunflower oil in a pan and fry the onion until translucent.
  3. Set the fried onion aside to cool slightly.
